Personal data protection is very important to us. The following document informs you what data we manage, why, for how long and all about your rights.

When do we process your personal data?

Your personal data is collected and processed in case you contact us with inquiry for our services or when you submit the contact form via our website www.pragueadventures.cz as defined in the Regulation by European Parliament and Council of the European Union (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (Data Protection Directive).

In case of an email inquiry / demand for services we collect the following:

  • E-mail address
  • First name(s), last name, alternatively the business name
  • Address (Street name & number(s), city, country) or Seat
  • Phone number
  • Body of the email or message

This personal data is necessary to collect and process in order to prepare a proposal of services, or in order to answer your question(s). Such processing is allowed by the article 6. par. 1 point b) of the Regulation. The Administrator processes this personal data during the period of service agreement negotiation, but for maximum of 5 years from your inquiry, unless you grant a permission for further processing. In case you submit your inquiry via the electronic form on our websites, we process the following personal data:

  • Name
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number
  • Text of the message

We process this personal data in order to answer your inquiry. Such processing is enabled by the article 6. par. 1 point b) of the Regulation. The Administrator processes this personal data during the period of answering your inquiry, but for maximum of 5 years from your inquiry, unless you grant a permission for further processing.

How do we use your data?

We will use your data to answer your inquiry, to carry out contractual negotiations related to service(s) requested, and to contact you via email with personalized special offers or news which might be of interest to you no more than six (6) times a year unless you request otherwise.

Who else might access your data?

Administrator works with other entities (Administrators). If this is necessary in order to provide the service you requested or to respond to inquiry you placed, these might have access to your personal data. Access to your personal data if necessary might have the following Administrator(s): Prague Events, s.r.o., sídlem Vítkova 241/10, Karlín, 186 00 Praha 8, registered C 296699 at Městský soud v Praze.

What are your rights?

Please note that according to the Regulation you have the right to:

  • Ask the Administrator, what personal data do we process, and/or request copy of such data
  • Request from us an explanation regarding personal data processing
  • Request access to such data and have the data be updated or corrected
  • Request to erase this personal data – the erasing of the data, may however, result in the termination of any contract negotiations and will be carried out only if the interests of the common Administrators do not exceed your privacy protection
  • Approach us or the Office for personal data protection or court in case you have doubts on conforming to the obligations related to the personal data protection.

What is a cookie?

What types of cookies are out there?

Cookies can be categorized by the party who places them on websites:

  1. First party cookie – duration is limited to the domain of the website you are viewing. This type of cookies is deemed to be safer.
  2. Third party cookie is placed via script from a different domain. The user can be thus followed across domains. They are often used to measure effectivity of different marketing channels.

Cookies can be categorized by duration:

  1. Session cookies – are erased from your computer once you close the browser
  2. Persistent cookies – they persist after you close your browser and are erased first after relatively long period (dependent on your browser and cookie settings). You can remove them manually.

Cookies can be also categorized by the purpose:

  1. Technical cookies – enable the basic web functions (e.g. login) or site functions (e.g. play a video, share content etc.)
  2. Analytical cookies – are used to collect non-anonymous data about users’ behavior. Based on that, the web can be optimized for your usage.
  3. Remarketing cookies – for targeting adds to users who already visited your web before.
  4. Conversion cookies – serve to evaluate success of a campaign.

How do we use cookies?

On our websites we use the following cookies:

  • Technical – first party session cookies to ensure the basic web functionality i.e. logging in, service use etc.
  • Google Analytics – first party persistent used to generate anonymous statistics about the web traffic. We never place sensitive or personal data in cookies. We can place user ID in a cookie which doesn’t allow third parties to identify the individual.

How can be use of cookies adjusted?

Deletion

You can delete all cookies in your browser – usually saved in „History“ of the websites visited.

Blocking

Web browsers can block placing cookies on your computer. However, this will have a negative impact on functionality of some websites.
